Calculate crossbar spacing by subtracting 2" from the length of each panel which gives you the distance needed between crossbars so you can figure your overall layout and precise crossbar positions. For example a B panel, 28.5” long, would require 26.5” between 2 crossbars as each panel overlaps each crossbar by 1”.
